I just got done watching Top Chef Just Desserts, which premiered tonight. It’s a competition between pastry chefs. I’m a big fan of Top Chef, which I saw won an Emmy Award this year. So it is pretty cool to see Just Desserts. It’s the same format as Top Chef, they just make desserts and pastries. Tonight’s challenge was to make the most decadent chocolate dessert.
I like how what is being made in each challenge is more focused from chef to chef. A chocolate dessert for example has a much tighter focus than make something with blue crabs. So I think in that way it is more interesting.
